Catalyst Media, in association with KPMG, has today announced the full shortlist for the 50th annual Business & Finance Awards 2024.
Taking place on the 5th of December in the Convention Centre, Dublin, the Business & Finance Awards will see over 1,000 business, political and social leaders attend the prestigious ceremony. The annual awards ceremony aims to recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements across six highly coveted awards.
Established in 1974, the Business & Finance Awards Programme is now marking its 50th year, making it Ireland’s longest-running business awards programme. The awards have a rich history of recognising the outstanding achievements of visionary leaders whose contributions have had a profound impact on their industries.
This year’s milestone ceremony will continue to celebrate excellence and showcase the transformative leadership driving economic progress and the shortlist below features prominent companies and individuals that are shaping the future of Irish business.

Honourees
There will also be a number of honourees recognised on the night. The Sutherland Leadership Award will be given to Sir Nick Clegg, President, Global Affairs at Meta, Former Deputy Prime Minister, United Kingdom. The TK Whitaker Award for Outstanding contribution to public life will honour Tony O’Reilly and the Outstanding Contribution To Ireland Award will go to champion trainer Willie Mullins.
Innovation of the Year Award
This year, the awards received a record number of entries, reflecting the dynamism and innovation that continues to thrive in Ireland. New to the awards is the Innovation of the Year category, further underlining the importance of pioneering ideas in shaping Ireland’s future. Additionally, entries in the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) category have highlighted the critical role businesses are playing in advancing sustainability and corporate responsibility.
